Saugatuck By Air
Some thirty-five years ago a friend took me up in his small
plane for a tour of Saugatuck by air. Since then I have wanted
to return to the sky with a camera, so I could share the
fantastic scenery with my friends. In June I rented a plane at
Tulip City
Airport and tested my aerial photographic skills, where I have
traveled by foot for the last forty one years. I was extremely
pleased with the images captured on this flight. All of my
friends were dazzled by these aerial views, even those who
have lived in the Saugatuck-Douglas area their whole lives.
Some of them have told me they expect these will become
historical photographs one day.
